Growth of Application Transmission Rates

The compact patch panel provides a rack mount solution for cable termination. Available in 24-port configuration Cat. 5e and Cat. 6 and for analogue and digital services in 24 and 50 port Cat. 3, the patch panels are optimized in port spacing and ensures alien crosstalk performance. As part of LanTec’s end-to-end Cat. 6 system channel, this panels support system performance up to and beyond pending 10GBASE-T standards.

Fiber Optics

LanTec’s DVS Fiber System supports 50 and 62.5 micron fiber cables in singlemode and multimode. They are perfectly suited for the support of Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet applications at all horizontal work stations, riser, and short length backbone locations.

 The DVS Fiber System

also supports singlemode optical fiber cable. It is perfectly suited for the support of extended distance 10 Gigabit Ethernet (> 550m) applications as well as emerging applications, such as 40 Gbit/s Synchronous Optical Network (SONET), that will operate at speeds beyond 10 Gbit/s.
